“Hello, everyone, Phoenix Wright here,” Phoenix said nervously in front of his phone camera.
“No, no, wait! Stop the video,” Trucy interrupted.
Phoenix stopped the recording, feeling a bit impatient. Trucy hadn’t been satisfied with any of his introductions for his first try at Youtube…
“What do I need to change?” he asked.
Trucy studied him carefully, and then placed her hand on her chin, deep in thought.
“Hmm… No, I think it’s just biological,” Trucy said, “You’re not cut out to be a YouTuber.”
“W-what? Why not?”
“I can see it in your eyes, Daddy. You’ve got the gene that makes you cringe no matter what you do,” she explained, “You’ll need some serious training if you want to succeed online. You’re not ready for your first video yet.”
Phoenix raised his shoulders slightly and sweat ran down his forehead.
“Serious training…?”
“Why does this remind me of when Maya made me meditate under a freezing waterfall?” he thought to himself.
“What does ‘cringe’ even mean?” Phoenix asked her.
“It’s when watching you gives other people second-hand embarrassment,” Trucy replied with her usual innocent smile.
“Objection! I-I don’t embarrass others!” Phoenix exclaimed, pointing dramatically at his daughter, “Right…?”
Trucy’s eyes widened with surprise. “Wait! That’s it! That’s perfect!”
“Huh?”
“Start recording again, and do something like that for the intro!” Trucy instructed.
Still a bit confused, Phoenix started recording once more.
“Hello, everyone! Phoenix Wright here!” he said, with the same energy he used in court for his objections.
And with the approval of his daughter, Phoenix continued with his video.
